What does a society focused on good mental health look like?

Mental health has shifted from being a taboo to a dominant theme around the world.  There is a broad recognition that mental ill-health is one of the greatest challenges facing us.  With the recent publication of the Mental Health Strategy Mental for NI, it has provided a ten-year road and vision for mental health.  Pre pandemic N.Ireland’s had the highest prevalence of mental health challenges, the long-term serious harms caused by the pandemic have exacerbated the mental health crisis.  

In this workshop, we will seek the views of local and international panellists on what does good mental health looks like?  Where do we want to be in ten years’ time?  How in our leadership roles can we fully deliver on the vision and aims of the mental health strategy? What can we learn from others to promote and support mental health services to build back stronger?
