Disability Inclusion in the workplace - What it is and why it matters?

Understanding disability and diversity in its broadest sense will be fundamental to creating a new diversity and inclusion model that seeks out nuance and complexity to enhance corporate and societal goals.  Disability inclusion at work is about more than recruiting people with disabilities. An inclusive workplace values all employees for their strengths. It offers employees with disabilities — whether visible or invisible — an equal opportunity to succeed, to learn, to be compensated fairly, and to advance. True inclusion is about embracing difference.

The Workshop provides the opportunity to consider why disability inclusion matters, who is doing it well and what needs to change to do it better in NI.
