Long Term Conditions Alliance Meeting

The Long Term Conditions Alliance had a members meeting already scheduled for the 10Dec, 2-3pm and have extended an invitation to SIG members to attend.

At the meeting we will have the following representatives:

Peter Jakobsen – Director, Rebuilding – Surge Planning, DoH

Jenny Keane – Chief Allied Health Professions Officer, DoH

Vivian McConvey – CEO, Patient Client Council (PCC)

Johny Turnbull - PCC

We only have an hour together, so this is very much the start of a conversation, with a view to keeping it going.

Our goal is to:

• Facilitate introductions (DOH, PCC, representative breadth of networks)
• Reinforce role of Third sector in HSC rebuild and transformation
• Get an update on rebuilding plans and in particular learn about PCC’s new role in leading co-production on behalf of DOH and explore how we work together on this
• Begin to establish a more strategic way of working between our networks, DOH and PCC
