Coronavirus Guidance Members News Job Support Scheme - What Does it Mean for Employers?

The Government has recently announced that the Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme (CJRS) will be replaced by the Job Support Scheme (JSS)  from November 1st 2020. 

The Job Support Scheme aims to support viable jobs in businesses which are facing lower demand over the winter months due to COVID-19 after the closure of the Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme. The JSS will open on 1 November 2020 and run for 6 months until April 2021.

CO3 has collaborated with our corporate partners Legal Island and colleagues at Jones Cassidy Brett to facilitate a one hour workshop to outline the new scheme and its potential effects on our member organisations. 

Within this workshop there will also be an opportunity to ask questions to the panel.
