Over the course of the past four months, many leaders have witnessed new ways of working emerging and seen that remote working offers both pros and cons for a new kind of workplace.
As lockdown restrictions now ease and we are making the journey back into the office environment. This raises challenges and opportunities for the future world of work. Employees are on an emotional roller-coaster some fearing for their health and livelihood; some dealing with significant non-work issues; caring for others; and others feeling lonely and disconnected and cannot wait to a return to the office. Leaders will need to bring an immense amount of support, purpose, inspiration and planning to counteract these factors and reconnect with employees.
Therefore, we have brought together three leaders to share their experiences and preparations for returning to an office environment. While recovery will be a slow process, the role of leaders through this next phase will be critical, with a focus on making staff comfortable and protecting key services, balanced against stringent health and safety guidance.
Join us to hear their stories and to share your experiences of returning (or not) to the office.
