Chairs' Forum

The Chairperson in a Third Sector organisation plays an important role. The Chair holds responsibility for leading the Board and setting its agenda. It is often the Chair to whom trustees look for advice, guidance and reassurance on all aspects of charities' governance The Chair also works closely with the Chief Executive and is a public face for the Organisation. To support Chairs in this important role CO3 have set up a Chairs’ Forum which will provide the opportunity to respond to the challenges of the role through sharing experience and expertise with peers, gaining advice and support to promote good practice. The Chairs’ Forum will be Chaired by Patrick Minne, CO3's newly appointed Director of Business Development.

The Forum is open to those who currently, in the recent past or expect in the near future to take on the important role of Chairperson.  It is open to all members within the CO3 Trustee Network.  We see this an important platform to provide helpful information through updates and briefings. Each forum has a dedicated theme arising from discussions from members.
