We are delighted to be offer our Members the 2019 Annual Member lunch which is a vital opportunity for our Members to take some time out to reflect and refocus.

This year we will be running a two hour workshop with Paula Clarke  on how to develop a more positive mindset & become more resilient

Most people believe personality traits are fixed characteristics that are present at birth and persist throughout an individual’s lifetime. Research by Carol S. Dweck , one of the world’s leading researchers in the field of motivation, now indicates that these “fixed” traits are simply the symptoms  of a person’s belief system. These beliefs can be so strong that they positively or negatively influence every aspect of an individual’s life: business, sports, relationships, parenting, teaching and coaching. These mindsets strongly influence the way we react to success and failure and in the workshop Paula will demonstrate how changing one’s mindset can profoundly affect the outcome of almost every situation.

Resilience is the capacity to recover quickly from difficulties. Resilient people bounce back from adversity, bounce forward with agility, as well as coping with stress more easily. Paula will share with you some tips & techniques that you can apply to build this vital capacity.
