Having good meeting minutes for a Board meeting is very important. Board meeting minutes are more than a general accounting of Board discussions; they serve as an official and legal record of the meeting of the Board of Directors. Minutes are used in a variety of ways including tracking progress, detailing future plans, and serving as a reference point.
This short information session led by Helen Nilen of PA2day will cover the essentials of good preparation to smooth the processes of the meeting, support the Board and the Minute Taker and consider the practicalities around ensuring the minutes taken reflect the true intentions of the Board and that they are an official and legal record.
